Cafe Bras recognised

The "Bib" symbol
You will have read in our posts of our liking for the Rodez Soulages art gallery and its adjoining restaurant, le Cafe Bras. Now the restaurant has been recognised in the new Guide Michelin with a "Bib". This designation rewards those establishments which ally excellence with affordable prices. The restaurant opened in April 2014,  project of the multi-starred chef from Aubrac, Michel Bras (3 Michelin stars since 1999) and his son Sebastien. We visited the Musee recently to see the exhibition of prints from Picasso to Jasper Johns and combined it with lunch at the Cafe Bras. Both events were memorable; the Musee costs 7 euros and lunch, with wine, about 35 euros. Reservations essential for Cafe Bras.
