A great day for "doing your back in" in the garden and that is what Malc and I have been up to this morning surrounded by useless helpers. Bonny digging in the wrong places scattering soil everywhere. Penny the old hen scratching through the piles of rubbish ready for the wheelbarrow, clucking," no insects here" as she scrats the pile all over the courtyard. The cats tripping you up, one having found a mouse and all the others jealously watching as the poor mouse is tormented. The donkeys love us being out there, trouble is the lovely day is making them a bit sexually frisky and concentrating on weeding whilst donkeys are fornicating a metre away (was a foot away,but I must think metric) is not easy.
