A good for the soul morning

A Question

Val says I have been at the Fifi poetry session this morning reading Robert Frost the American poet. We all six of us ended up really liking his work and the four simple sentences above seemed relevant to us now. Sad times in the world but would we rather never have been born to save ourselves suffering? No, living is what we must do we felt and to the best of our ability, trying to overcome the damage to the soul and damages to the body.
Doreen Porter a new member to the group enjoyed it so much she ended up waxing lyrical.

Six ladies we sat
Knee deep in Frost,
But today no chill
Did surround us.
As the poet so profound,
Warmth and hope did bring.
No title often
At Val’s behest,
Yet still we questioned
And took the path that led us six
To understand our past
And cope with future torments
