We had lunch at Charleys at Verfeil, poor bloke still has a bad back, such a shame, but lunch was good.
As we left the village I spotted the lavoir. Malc says "what do you mean you spotted the lavoir? "
Seriously it is the first time I remember seeing it, unless I am losing it of course.
Malc reminds me that on the film of Najac in the seventies ladies ( Malc says why are they never women?)were still doing their washing in the lavoirs. What convivial places they must have been for us ladies / women. I bet there was some good gossip passed around then, a "vrai temps pour les commerages "/ gossips.
