Burqa comment

Hi Val

Surely, if you go to live somewhere different, you take care to conform. Westerners in the Gulf states don't drink in public because it breaks the law and they get punished. Ditto wearing symbolic clothes in France which the law bans. 

Do it and get into trouble. Conform and live freely. It's a personal choice. The rules are there to ensure, in each case, that law-abiding citizens aren't threatened by the actions of law-breakers. 

It's not rocket science, and few who offend do so innocently. They usually turn out to have a personal axe to grind...
