My view is that any argument that cites a religion as a reason for doing something is flawed. Since all religions are made up by MEN and used to put people (women, mostly) in their place they should be viewed with caution. The burqa is worn by women only - there is no equivalent for a man. If people insist on behaving a particular way depending on the specific set of supersitions in which they belive, then they should do this in the privacy of their own home. In fact, why not put a tax on it, like the governments of the day like to do with anything that is bad for your health.
