Suddenly the world is a brighter place

Malc came with me to hold my good hand this morning, well if I am honest he went dragging me in saying " but you have to go" The nurse was very apologetic about the pain caused yesterday and said she had been awake all night thinking about it. I could have added you were not the only one but gave a brave smile instead. It would appear the stitches were sewn extremely tightly and overlapping, the worst the nurse had ever taken out.
Malc stayed holding my hand as the other was worked on and as he kissed my good hand for encouragement, I laughed and said " it is just like child birth"
The procedure was easier than yesterday and I am glad to have it confirmed that I am not just a total wimp, so those contemplating a Dupuytrens operation can now start planning again.
