You are too well integrated, expecting almost instant medical appointments. Remember that in the UK what are regarded as non urgent appointments could be up to 9 months - all hospitals have found ways to weasel their ways round waiting list deadlines.
Anyway the reason for long waits in France is that there are too few health service dermatologues and co incidentally gynalogues. Those who work in the community are paid little more than the average French GP who are very badly paid compaired to the UK;
So those little spots which used to be called beauty spots will just have to make you more beautiful till March!

Val says - two readers sent the name of their dermatologists in Montauban but on phoning their waiting lists were even longer. We have found someone in Albi who can do it the beginning of February.
