Adieu and farewell our lovely boy

We ended up getting a neighbour to put Twister in the car for us and took him down to the vet's at Laguepie. The news as we feared was not good, a severe arthritis crisis but the killer, renal failure. He was suffering and so we both gave him a kiss and cuddle and stayed with him for the first injection which put him to sleep.We left, both in tears and have just had a cup of tea recalling all the finer points of this great pet. This afternoon we will walk with Bonny up to the dawn cross / croix de l'aube and leave his spirit there.
