Fifi, Friends in France International make a good decision

Fifi, the ladies group in the area have shown once again their caring natures. ( there is a link to the group in the side panel) They have decided to support a charity and after a close vote by members have decided to support two charities, Cancer Support and Medicins Sans Frontieres The money raised at the Friperie 1,000 euros will be split between the two groups. Well done ladies with this decision, we are a group with much to offer our members and this generous gesture shows once again we are open to helping others.
I was also delighted to see in the newsletter a report of Sue Hunt arranging in her area, a
game of darts in the local bar with French people of the village. Well done Susan Hunt.  Sue also raised well over 500 euros with her Macmillan Cancer Support morning.
The Fifi / TAG plant swap with gardening books for sale raised 142 euros for the Red Cross and Debbie from Jardin des Espiemonts is keen to have more gardening books ready for the next swap, so any gardening books remember to send Debbie's way.
These are the initiatives TAG is keen to promote and give publicity to. If you are working within the community and  want some publicity  contact TAG with details.
