France is the world's top nudist destination, with two million people, half of them foreign, flocking to nudist camps each year.
In the Dordogne a man walking in the woods nude was taken to court by a passing lady and her grandson after he dived into bushes as they met him.
The court made a distinction between sexual exhibitionism and naturism, and the man was let off the charge.
I am not a prude but walking in the woods without your clothes to protect your private parts, seems folly to me. When I go down the fields or woods walking dogs especially at this time of year I make sure I wear jeans and socks and if not too hot, cover my arms. It is bad enough if you get scratched arms and legs or bites or stings but in the nudy, just imagine! I do not even want to think about aoutat but who knows if I tried it, it might frighten the hunters away.
