Despite many businesses being closed owing to the national holiday, the monthly foire at Laguepie goes ahead as usual today, the third Tuesday of the month. A wide range of stalls offering local produce as well as clothing, hardware and furniture fills the streets and market hall and is a long way away from the touristy market at St Antonin. Both are worth a visit - but the foire is just one a month.
