Those not on holiday today

may be "ponting" - ie having a day off because tomorrow is a national holiday. 15th August is the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and is one of those religious holidays marked in this allegedly secular country.
One of the biggest gatherings will be at Lourdes, where tens of thousands of pilgrims are expected.
Locally the Marche de Potiers at Caylus is expected to be well attended. We have marked the summer song recital in the mairie of St Antonin tomorrow at 18h (6pm) in our agenda. Others will want to witness the "Course de Cote" hill climb also in St Antonin.
With a sunny 30ºC forecast today perhaps the pool will be the place today.
