It is our young who are helping refugees at Calais

In one of the sheds housing clothes and bedding sent for refugees the helpers sorting the essential gifts are our young. To continue the work they still need monetary donations.

This is what Utopia does
Provide concrete aid to migrants in Calais
Six thousand people survive in this shantytown. There are not enough toilets, showers, sources of water, meals or doctors. Many volunteers are already working there, but it’s not enough.
Utopia 56 is in touch for example with Salam and L’Auberge des migrants. On the websites of these associations, you will find information on migrants: where they come from, why they are there, what they need.
Utopia 56 offers punctual assistance to these organizations on specific projects. For example, allowing showers and toilets to remain open longer each day, building shelters, sorting clothes, welcoming migrants arriving at night.
Utopia 56 will help you get to Calais and find accommodation at a lower cost. There, you will join a team in the field. Weekends are when there is the most to do.
You can also donate money to fund projects or offer your time and talents to the organization in the way that makes most sense to you. Such partnerships are integral to helping us fulfil our mission.
Val says
We know from the people here who have been to Calais the pleasure in helping outweighed the horror of the degrading situation of the jungle.
Keep up the good work you amazing young people.
