I had the reverse ! Having bought their Sable Anglais from the biscuit counter in our local Hyper U in Montbazens for some time, I was surprised to see on the ‘English’ aisle, a packet of ‘real’ Digestives in original wrapper were cheaper … didn’t check whether they were well past sell by date but they tasted ok ...Vx
Val says interesting that. We bought from the British Corner shop Mc vities light but decided you could not " dunk" them and were just too healthy by half. Wonder if there is any other Mcvitie spotting going on ?
