Not that Sylvie Guillem is a difficult person, but that she is genuinely the best woman dancer of her generation in the French national ballet. Achieving stardom under Nureyev's direction Guillem has appeared frequently at Covent Garden and throughout the world. Now aged 49 she has announced that 2015 will mark her swan song, with a world tout to include London and Tokyo.
