A walk in Najac

While Val was discussing FIFI's gardening group's programme for 2015 Malc and Bonny eschewed the iced cakes and Laguepie's monthly Foire for a leisurely coffee and croissant in Najac followed by a stroll along the banks of the Aveyron.
The ancient and narrow bridge of St Blaise spans a quiet stretch of the river with easy walks.
The avenue of mistletoe decked poplars provides interesting shadows with the watery sun which broke through this morning.
Catching a glimpse of a kingfisher in flight is easier than capturing it on film - but its reflection in the river shows it was no piece of floating plastic.
From the river side gives a different perspective on Najac castle and church.

Even on a grey morning with just glimpses of sun a lovely way to pass a couple of hours. Bonny thought so too.
