It is being said by the courts that Jacques Poujol, an Aveyronnais was pivotal in the horse meat scandal at Spanghero. Jacques, former managing director at Spanghero, was a well known rugby supporter and one of the vice presidents of the St-Affrique rugby club and was often seen arriving with friends by helicopter.
Jacques has been placed on detention and will hear more about his future on Tuesday.
