We are sitting watching France TV direct from the scene of possible capture of the terrorist and accomplices in Paris. There have been numerous explosions from 3 am onwards with reports of police being hurt and possibly an explosion where a woman with an explosive belt was killed. The operation is on going.
The leader of this cell in France is called " le cerveau" the brains. Not from the slums but a good family in Belgium attending good schools even a year at a "prestigious private" Catholic school. He never attended the mosque when he was young. Then out of the blue he took his younger brother and went to Syria.
His father cannot understand why he and his brother became radicalised.
Now in the future these would-be terrorists should not be allowed back in, trained as they are in terror and how to kill. Young people go from France and England and once that decision has been made the die is cast in my opinion. On his return from Syria the police released him as there was a mix up in photographs but he remained on the radar of possible troublemakers.
We await now a happy ending to this story, a happy ending to my mind is this radical blowing himself up, before he takes any others with him.
