Just to say Le Petit Prince is a firm favourite so looking forward to the daily paragraph.
Do you know the word 'rouspèter' = to grumble? Years ago a lady said this of her husband. I think we all rouspètons from time to time.

Can't resist. Another one for your french word list: 'Pot de yaourt' = one of those little vehicles for which no driving licence is needed.....
(I always threaten that I'll get one of those once I shouldn't drive any more)
