A kiss on the lips may be

quite continental, but when it's a girl's best girl friend it can invoke the ire of a railway attendant.
A Dutch woman taking the train from Paris to Amsterdam was prevented from kissing her partner by a platform attendant because "there are children present". He explained he would have no problem if it was a heterosexual kiss, but this was intolerable and he was "doing his job". The train operator is holding an enquiry, explaining that they had a non-discrimination policy.
