A sad story where 5 young people and their guide were found dead in the massif du Mont- Blanc.The young people were being trained by the National centre of sports the UCPA( they used to have a camp at Laguepie, by the river) They were on a 2 week training programme / stage de perfectionnement.
It is the worst accident in 10 years in the French Alps and brings the total deaths in Mont Blanc climbs this year to 14.
