Looking at the meteo today, one does not hold out much hope of a glimmer of that elusive round yellow ball. Instead we are promised grey skies and showers.
This is not good for us all who fancied a bit of heat, but it is also not good for tourism.
Tourists pay an elevated amount to come in the peak periods when as well as being school holidays there is the chance of better weather.
At least our renters are not complaining, as they explained in the summer they expect temperatures of 37 to 40 degrees in Mallorca and they are enjoying the change of being able to play outside through the day.
And play they have been, with bikes whizzing everywhere, football matches, tag games,swinging, donkey rides, canoeing, walking. It makes you tired out watching them all.
They are not using the pool!
