What is the "premier" fruit of Tarn and Garonne?

That is right, apples, 200, 000 tons of them and it has been a complicated growing year for all fruits. Early in the year the rain and hail affected growth and they are now two or three weeks later than normal. Regardless of that the crop of Gala, Granny Smith and Ariane are plentiful, tasty, sweet and colourful and up to  exporting to the very important market in the UK.

   Hi Val,
4th 5th & 6th October is the apple festival at Vaour.
Take your glut of apples and have them pressed or simply buy a few bottles on site.
The smell of freshly squeezed juice is a delight.
