Yesterday Malc and I after getting two new batteries for the electric fencing spent nearly all day making sure everything was earthed that should be, nothing was affecting the current through the lines and the posts were well in. The charge went from a measly 0.8 up to an 8 on all the lines, now that should have you sorted ladies. For those who imagine us testing the lines by going " ouch, it works" we do have a little tester, but even that needs its batteries changing from time to time. We could not work out why we still were showing no charge after all the work till we realised the tester was dead! We never learned any of this stuff in our former bookselling life!
Much as we both love them those donkeys, Rosie and Lucy, we do have other things to do than chasing around the lanes after naughty donkeys.
