More on the film in St. Antonin Noble Val

Lots of readers are, even if on the fringes involved with the film making and makers, and one sees so much work goes on before the film is shot. Numerous shops have been well paid to shut up shop for a few weeks and let the film makers take over. Chambre d'hotes have been contacted more as film locations than for their letting capabilities. The film crew and ''stars'' seem generally to have chosen nice gite locations to be holed up in for their time of filming here. We were asked about accomodation but were already fully booked for September. One chambre d'hote on the main street had a near miss as a chosen location for being included in the film, but fell down on the lack of a small front garden. Others' houses have been asked to be used to place cameras in their windows for  filming . All this work goes on even before the shooting starts and then stand ins like Ty from Browns will stand around whilst shots are tested and tried saving the time and energies of the real stars. One begins to see why film costs spiral but with backers like Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg the money is going to be forthcoming and the rewards of a successful film are very worthwhile, and with Lasse Hailstrom directing, the film has a chance.
