We heard on the grapevine that the restaurant owner at Browns in the centre of St. Antonin [ another failure as I forgot to ask his name, I am waiting for you all who live in St. Antonin to supply it for me] was going to be a body double in the new film ''Le Voyage de Cent Pas'' by Richard C. Morais which is to be filmed in the area. Not only a body double but they have asked him to be a cook in the film. His partner Swiss born Henriette Harris [I did ask her name] had also been picked to be an extra and today had gone to Albi to be fitted for her costume.
The centre of St. Antonin is being transformed and the horrid large glass windows are being substituted albeit on a temporary basis by much more charming facades with windows more in keeping with a charming old French town.
Anyway Ty and Henriette at Browns who everyone in St. Ant know so well [we are Varenois] are willing to keep us in touch with how it all develops.
