The second time our French agriculter neighbour said they had enjoyed his lettuce, oops. The problem is the batteries had run low and the little beggars soon find out that the charge is not very strong.We have bought two new batteries and shortened the area they can have for awhile and if they break out of that there is still another fence to go. Last night so we got a good nights sleep we locked the donkeys in their shed enclosure, which produces a bit of early morning braying.Who would have thought when I was bookselling around the world ten years ago that I would end up spending my life chasing errant donkeys? Not me.
