Malc and I have organised the Varenly Regatta for ten years but now it is time to pass the organisation on to a new team. Today the baton or oar was handed over to Commodore's Val Hughes and Celia Berry ( Chris Gee is still In England at the moment and has a few concerns about her Mothers' health. If she can be here she will be.)
Malc and I will be in the background giving help and advice if needed.
One thing that was discussed was the return of trophies, can last years winners arrange to hand back their trophies which were held for the year and anyone with a surfeit of trophies that could be used pass them on to us or the ladies.
