The French World Cup squad has a few players in their midst from Arsenal, that great club which won the FA Cup in May: Olivier Giroud who scored the first goal last night, Laurent Koscielny and Bacary Sagna (going to Man City next month).
Don't forget that Mr VaVaVoom himself, Thierry Henry, currently commenting on the World Cup for the BBC, was an Arsenal and France player.
