TV reality "star" Nabilla tweeted the above description of cinema star Catherine Deneuve, who was quoted in a Sunday newspaper as saying that there are no more stars. She suggested that the spread of digital media such Twitter, Facebook and Facetime made it easy for people to become famous without actually doing anything worthwhile. She deplored the insatiable demand for "selfies" and will refuse to co-operate at Cannes film festival next week.
Nabilla, who starred in some TV reality show and is really more well known for attacking her boyfriend, was peeved when Queen Catherine blanked her at a fashion show - not surprising when Nabilla mistook surely France's most famous star for the presenter of a late night TV show.
Perhaps the headline above should read "bitter, jealous YOUNG woman".

Collage with Rana for the Grandchildrens last day.
A lovely morning creating masterpieces again, well that is everyone but me. Having dipped my paste brush in my cup of tea instead of the paste pot, I got a bit disheartened. The girls had no such disasters so produced very pretty collages. A bit of a problem with a lack of pet pictures which left Rana and I rapidly checking through magazines to find pictures of " a Daisy dog" Daisy being our little Westie who died but still lives on in the girls hearts. One of the girls had found a picture like Daisy and the other one wanted it. The problem was resolved by finding a delightful picture of a golden like Bonny, phew.
These courses have been brilliant for entertaining the children and once again " Gran has come up trumps "
Annabel says " What is trumps Grandma?"and having explained Annabel has had a trump hand at least four times.
Charlotte the elder of the two says " But I have been entertaining you and Annabel, Grandma !"

Ideas for entertaining youngsters over Easter and beyond
Our two girlie grandaughters do take after their Father on the artistic side. Our daughter was always pretty rubbish at art [ sorry Sam, but it is true] That does not stop any of us enjoying different artistic meduims. I have booked a course for us three girls after Easter with Resi doing sculpture / clay modelling and will let you see the results after our session. If you have Grandchildren coming you must not miss a visit to Anke's Farm. Our girls just love going and seeing the animals and having a ride in the sulki pulled by a donkey [ one of eight ] I think many an afternoon may be spent there.

Collage workshops for adults and children with Rana either in your home or in her studio. ( see examples below ) Fun...inspiring...having something to take away with you...great for keeping the children amused in holidays etc
. I work with adults and children and for the French it is a good way for them to learn English. As I speak English in the classes they learn the language easily as they are engaged in creativity.

Now keep those clearly in your mind and wait three weeks for my , yes my collage [ you have seen my giraffe!] In three weeks the girly grandchildren arrive 6 and 12 years old and entertaining them with out Mum is a challenge I want to rise to.
