Jacynth Crozier, find her in the adverts
Dear Val,
Thank you. Here is a little bit about myself and my work.I am English but I grew up on the continent, going to a French school from
the age of 3 and then university, first at Montpellier and then at
Aix-en-Provence, to study medieval archaeology. I worked as an archaeologist
in the Languedoc-Roussillon region until mid 2011, when the situation became
no longer viable. As it became obvious that I was going to have to find
something else to do, the idea of working as a translator grew. Speaking
fluent French and English and being competent in Spanish and Catalan, it
seemed the obvious choice. So after re-training and some administrative help
and advice about starting my own business, Crozier Traductions was born.
My idea, from the start, was not only to work on translating documents, but
also to help English speaking residents with situations they might finddifficult or stressful. I can accompany them to meetings to help translate,
write letters or make phone calls for them or take the problem off their
hands and deal with it for them. These situations range from issues at the
bank, to taxes, insurance claims or problems with the phone company, to name
just a few. I also give French lessons or, for those with good French but
who would like to practice it more, French discussion. I am situated near
Najac, in the Aveyron, so I am not far from Villefranche, Saint-Antonin,
Cordes or the areas thereabouts.
Thank you again, and thank you for making TAG such an interesting and
enjoyable read.Kind regards,
Jacynth

Always happy to know about working translators, Jacynth
Dear Val,
I was recently told about TAG on-line and have since been reading it with interest and pleasure.
I wondered if it would be possible to advertise my services. I am a translator and I also offer administrative help and assistance to English speaking residents here in France.
I have included my flyer. Would it be possible to place it in your side-bar as is, or do you have a specific format that I could use as a template to create something specifically for the site? Also, it is a pdf, but I can easily send it to you as a jpg or png if you would rather.
If you agree, I will send you a cheque for 35€ made out to "Liberté des Anes" for the first 3 months.
Regards,
Jacynth Crozier

Val says I have promised Malc I will make a chicken curry and soup this afternoon but in between I will configure your advert in the side bar. Thanks for the kind words and the money is definitely needed at the donkey sanctuary.

Traductrice assermentée
In Puylaroque (82) lives a charming young French lady called Emmanuelle Dangé - 9, rue de Béral, 82240 Puylaroque, telephone 05 63 24 17 74, email e-trad@orange.fr, website e-trad.fr
Emmanuelle speaks excellent English and German as well as French, and is a sworn translator for the courts.
She also helps people deal with French authorities, builders, shops, etc. She's also very adaptable - she will write a stroppy letter for you (as only the French can) or check your French in one you've drafted for yourself, come to Montauban or Cahors or Villefranche to help you register your car, ring round insurance companies for quotes, and 101 other things.
We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Andrew wants a "traducteur assermenté"
Dear Andrew,
If you need the translation for an official purpose, you probably need a translation certified by a "traducteur assermenté"
There are many translators but not so many "assermenté"
We have used Mme Annemarie Vignes at Blaye les Mines; 31 r Marcel Paul; 05 63 43 03 07; m0628 04 13 93.
You may be able to find one nearer to you.

Accredited translator needed
Hi Val and Malcolm,
Hope you are both well. I was wondering if you or your readers may be able to help me with something. I'm in need of a certified translation of my birth certificate and wanted to ask if anyone could point me in the right direction?
Many thanks in advance
Andrew

Another translator and she needs golf partners
I saw your article about translators. I am a translator from Fr - Eng. I am a registered auto-entrepeneur. My partner Barry also translates with me and we specialise in property and legal documents since he is an ex lawyer. We could also help written French where necessary.
On another note I am a 12 hcp golfer looking for people to play with. Anyone out there? I am here till mid. Oct.

Translator of documents needed
This name was given earlier in the year as a very helpful lady who translates documents and can help with language problems. I will file in labels under translator
It's Emmanuelle Dangé, a young lady who lives in Puylaroque, telephone 06 03 90 77 73, email e-trad@orange.fr.

I notice that our little traductrice friend Emmanuelle Dangé has broadened her activities and now offers a wider range of help for English speakers in our part of the world.
Her phone number and email address remain the same, but she now has the following website www.helpinquercy.com which explains the various ways in which she can assist.
Sent by Chris
Val says importantly I am told Emmanuelle is accredited by French Officialdom to translate, present and sign official documents
