Another on dog bites.

Hello
Dog owners in France seem unwilling to accept responsibility for their animals.  Irresponsible owners turn their dogs out each morning, leave them to form a pack and allow them to roam out of control.

As a retired, professional dog handler the rules are simple.  If a dog attacks and bites on its own territory the problem lies with the owner and the victim.  If, however,  the dog leaves its territory and attacks/bites on someone elses land, including public land,  the animal is dangerous and should be put down.
There is no such thing as a bad dog, only a bad owner.

Val says  just an add on to this post of the local dogs I know that have bitten people, one belongs to an Englishman, one a French couple and another a Dutch couple so all nationalities are equally at fault.
