Laguépie Flower fair is the unmissable annual signal that it is time to get your garden pots out. Flowers, bushes, trees, vegetables, tomatoes, herbs; plus all kinds of accessories.

Reminder for the March for the Planet

Good news, the forecast is great for Sunday.

Do come and join us to share and unite in our desire to stop destroying the planet, to stop abuse of people and animals

The walk will start at 3pm the other side of the bridge in Saint Antonin

We'll first express all that is bad , followed by short speeches outside the Mairie followed by the walk back to the salle de fete where we will express hope of a future where we can all live in harmony.

In the salle de fete we will have lots of stands where we can all share  projects, actions and be inspired  by others.

The stands will cover biodiversity, ecological building, our rivers, the young people movement, humaniarian actions, animal cruelty and how to avoid it, pesticides and how to avoid them, permaculture, shared gardens, mindfulness, etc!

Home made cakes, pancakes, tea and coffee will be there to welcome you. We'll also have a bar and at 6.30 pm a vegi meal all at a  reasonable prices.

At 8.30 pm,  the cinema has programmed a film as a follow up to our action called L'Illusion Verte.

Gaillac lantern festival opens

Chinese workers prepare for the festival

The second festival of Chinese lanterns opens tomorrow (Saturday 1st December) in the Gaillac Foucaud  park. For the last two months 82 Chinese workers from Sechuan have been constructing a city of lanterns with fantastical creatures and a "palace" some 75 metres long.
It is possible that gilets jaunes will cause some difficulty of access so visitors are advised to check the media tomorrow.

Giants (including spiders) invade Toulouse

just a part of the Minotaure: photo La Machine
Think more of the giants in Liverpool last week rather than Dr Who last night, but from 1st November the streets of Toulouse will be the site of a presentation of "The Guardian of the Temple" by the company called "La Machine". Featuring a giant Minotaure and a web-weaving spider the presentation will take place in the city streets, with various acts making a theatrical event. The event is marking the opening of a new "Halle de la Machine" in the Toulouse suburb of Montaudran, which will display such machines.

La prochaine guinguette sera donc le samedi 15 septembre, plus d’infos bientôt.
The usual Saturday "Guinguette qui bouge" is cancelled this week as everyone will be at the Salle des Fetes in Verfeil to support Mel, from Caylus, who is suffering from MS and needs funds to buy special equipment to enable her to live at home.
