I got the "graine" / seeds from a TAG/ Fifi plant swap and had 60 plants on the window ledge, which quite honestly made us look like cannabis growers.
Many plants were given to friends and many grew beautifully in the garden. I was concerned whten two voisins/ neighbours said their tomatoes had a maladie/ sickness and mine started getting grey spotted leaves.
I now have loads of tomatoes but some have blemished skins, although they taste delicious.
Many neighbours round about have lost their crops and I have been told next year to use a bio product called "bleu bordelaise" to counteract maladies.
The French are blaming the dampness for their loss.
A little of the blame for the weather from French neighbours is given to us Anglo Saxons also for
bringing the English weather with us.

Henri does have the biggest I've seen
The Depeche is full of tomato stories.Après une pastèque de 22 kg et une tomate de 1 400 grammes, Henri Raniéri est tout fier de nous montrer aujourd'hui une grappe de 4 tomates qui pèsent 2,734 kg.
Malc says: The French way of writing numbers makes it look (to our Anglo Saxon eyes) as if M Ranieri's tomatoes weigh an average of about 683 kgs each whereas they weigh about 683 gms each (unless, forgive me monsieur, the rest are stuffed in his vest...)
