This morning we had a phone call from Max saying " how about using George" Now we had not asked George as we did not know he would go up on rooves( roofs not rooves, perhaps thinking of hooves!.) Anyway George was there and came on the phone and said "why have you not asked me?" When we explained he was mollified and will be up soon to do the job, and quess what " he is a small roofer" I will find Georges number and give that. Not easy finding a chimney sweep or a roofer.

Some summer weather at last to greet our arrival!
I tried Andrew Rust, but he phoned me to say he was absolutely unable to undertake any small roofing jobs as he was fully booked for the next nine months! We too have a small roof job - some wooden slats under the tiles on the terrace roof have gone rotten and we need them replacing.
So perhaps best not bother Andrew! He's just too good, hence in demand. It is difficult to get anyone to do a 'petit truc'. Cedric Linon may be useful to try.
