Petrol heads take note

The Mondial 2016 car show in Paris opens its doors to the public this weekend. One of the most prestigious automobile events in the world the biennial show attracted over one and a half million visitors two years ago.

Some big names are missing, notably Ford, Mazda and Volvo, but also some prestige brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce are not showing. Nevertheless there is plenty for the enthusiast to see, with the trend to electric and hybrid cars well represented.
