Nous sommes le vendredi vingt huit octobre

A very misty morning, with the possibility of a sunny day when the mist clears.
We have French friends staying and even they think there is very little news but the happenings in Calais. We were all sad to hear from friends working with help agencies up there that there are still children sleeping on the street awaiting documentation and transport to the UK.
SO much of what we read in the papers differs so much from what we hear from friends actually working in the camps. At  least thousands of people are now rehomed in decent accomodation and will be filling in asylum applications and that has got to be a positive.
Some refugees have arrived at Bruniquel and I am waiting to near about Realville where 50 are expected.
Getting ready now for a morning walking around Najac and then stopping there for lunch with our visitors.
Last night we watched the film Charlotte Grey which we had not watched for some time, we had forgotten how much of St. Antonin was shown... a much better film than 100 Foot Journey.
