This so annoys me

Four youngsters on holiday were having a riding lesson riding in the countryside / une balade à cheval from the equestrian centre  near Saint Gauden A very noisy machine a " nettoyer sur haute pression" drove very close to the riders frightening all the horses. All the young riders were thrown even the group teacher. All the children needed hospital treatment and the " monitrice" the teacher has a very serious head injury, needing a brain operation. Her situation is grave. There is an inquiry underway into the incident which was on a quiet country lane.
These drivers should have more sense if working in a country situation, do they not have training about meeting live stock.
I am still furious with a man who when a group of us were out with the donkeys brought his machine cutting the verges/ fauchage  right up to us panicking the donkeys and making us all having to cling on for dear life to their leads as we were dragged down the road. If he had just waited 2 minutes we could have turned a corner out of his way. The smile on his face did not help but it could have had serious consequences.
Can I say he was a pillock?

You may be interested to know I posted this post on Horses South West France on facebook. I knew it would get comments, 15 at the moment but it appears to have descended into a slagging match between readers about the French. My post was never designed to critise the French nation just unconsidered driving. One French lady is defending her corner very well and I have given her my encouragement. Another lady does point out that the noisy machine may have been in a farmyard and not on the road, the enquiry is underway.
