Malc and Sarah both live in France so from that respect this is French news!!
Today Middlesbrough Malc's team supported since he was small. Standing then, holding his Dad's hand on the terraces Malc has been hooked and supports his team through thick and thin.
We have had a few dicey moments in the past with his support for the Boro. The Boro has traditional rivalry with nearby team Sunderland. Imagine his horror when we rented the gite three winters ago to a Sunderland supporter, who then had the audacity when playing the Boro to dangle a Sunderland supporters scarf from one of the windows.
Amazingly we have stayed friends.
Today another test of friendship when Malc goes to watch Arsenal and the Boro play in the fifth round of the FA cup at Sarah's a nearby neighbour who has sky and is a cough / Arsenal supporter.
May the best man or woman win, oh! and good luck to each team, I am hoping for a draw.
