Our ensemble with the neighbours' serre

Our ensemble of buildings at Mas del Sol, in the foreground our neighbours' serre / polytunnel. In a post yesterday Emma had been planting seeds in her serre and it reminded me that our young  French neighbours were starting to plant in their serre.
Ugly things these plastic greenhouses, we are glad that it is hidden from our view in the summer by the leaves on a line of plum trees.
If you are planning selling plants or herbs then I can see why you would want a big greenhouse and the young folks need to get a business going.
