A post should have a connection to France

However slim there should be some connection to France for a post to get on TAG, some do slip through like our three days in Spain!!
When I mentioned Brideshead Revisted which we had bought on DVD I could not think of much of a connection other than the principal character studied art in Paris for a time. A reader sends this post

Can I offer another connection to France for you, not that I think you need
justify your post.
But... as a matter of interest, Evelyn Waugh's son is my neighbour and has
been resident in the village for many years.
