Every third Tuesday in the month at Laguepie there is a big market. Quite confusing to remember when it is the normal market on a Wednesday. The French seem to manage it and they are all there and in fact we moved Café et conversation to Thursday so we do not clash.
As well as the food stalls one has a huge kitchen stall with kitchen equipment. Stalls with underwear and nightwear... everything functional, no sexy little numbers to be found at Laga, they know their market. Stalls with shoes and slippers and always near the Post Office a man with a huge paella pan who seems to do good business. Barbecued chickens are available at the Laguepicerie.Get wrapped up this morning, it is a bit chilly but get out to the market, meet your friends for a chat and coffee at Fifi's or the Troubador.
I am sure if you do not live near Laguepie there will be a market near you somewhere and they are after all pretty much the same. If you are younger and have to work do remember us more elderly have earned our retirement.
