Now two deaths, after a " battue for sangliers"

I reported this a couple of days ago, a 65 year old seemingly shot by friends whilst out on a sanglier hunt. The two friends were taken in for questioning all in the same age group. They were released after questioning but one of the men who lived with his 93 year old father was unable to cope with the horror and guilt of the accident and shot himself and was found dead at 6 am in the morning. However  you look at it these two deaths were caused by that initial hunt. Imagine the pain of the old man losing his son and the third friend, well I imagine he will throw his shotgun away and if he does not, he should. So sad about both incidents but I would have been even sadder had it been Malc or friends out walking that had been shot.  There is a place for guns with the forces of order, they are not toys or play things. They are not taken seriously enough here in France or in the US. Guns can be found in many country homes in France  regardless of any gun laws.     Comments to taglines82@gmail.com
