All to neat and formal, French picnics are much more relaxed affairs. Where is the bottle of wine and needed bottles of water necessary to parch thirst in the hot sun. Narrow gardens, seems unlikely when so much land is available. Lovely picture though it is, it hardly represents a French picnic.
