Victoria Ironside gave us a good evening's entertainment if just a touch too close for comfort with her monologue. A one woman show from this interesting seventy one year old lady growing old disgracefully. What an interesting guest at a dinner party she would be, and may she continue writing and entertaining for many years to come.
Malc and I managed to get seats on the front row and I got chatting to a very nice man next to me who explained as he was hard of hearing he needed to be near the front. He had seen a specialist who told him there was little to be done but he was a very intelligent man and he could cope. I told him about TAG and was just handing over a card when his wife arrived. She sat down and the man started to explain our conversation when the lady said " you two were flirting" and then the show started.
Oops!
After the interval the man had obviously explained our conversation and his wife came back to a friendly talk with the TAG editor. Both said they would look at TAG today.
I can now admit at nearly 70 I was flirting, I have a thing for intelligent tall men, so old we may be but attractions between sexes still exist.( c'est normale)
