This is what we want to hear

Hi Val

In UK this week and saw The Hundred Foot Journey in Henley (you will know it).  It was, as critics say, schmaltzy with no great story.  It was however well acted and beautifully filmed.  We loved it but then we are obviously biased.

The real point for us is that St Antonin, the name repeated over and over so no-one could miss it and always correctly pronounced, came over as the fabulously gorgeous medieval town we love.  As you said, St Antonin is now on the map and for my money was the real star.

As to Helen Mirren, practically every women's magazine features interviews with her this month.  She apparently acted two versions, one in French and one in English.  She had hoped they would use the French, but being an American production they of course used the English.
