It all happened in Marion's garden

Dear Val,
Sorry not to have sent this yesterday  but we were still spinning from all the excitement of a really wonderfull evening here on Friday.

Sally Bradshaw put together a beautiful mix of music and poetry read by Martine Buffard and Christopher Keefe with Antoine Chaigne on the guitar.. Highlights for me were Sally opening the concert with Mozarts Air de Don Giovanni and closing with Burns " Ye banks and braes",

An email I received this morning sums it all up perfectly..............
"Wow!!! It was impressive that you could gather together so many interesting and diverse types! And those serving kids, beyond dreams of Pre-Raphaelite beauty and demureness: a theatrical orchestration all in itself; certainly a first in elegance in Villefranche. Bravo. I felt truly whisked around by the rhythm of the scene, a heady experience. The music, the readings, the campfire, so much, so good. Definitely a 20."

A huge thankyou to the Artists who performed and generously put so much time towards the sucess of the event and also to the 110 people who made their way to the garden to support it and to you Val for publicising it.

A bientot, Marion.xxxxxxx
Val says   we were so sorry not to be there, having a previous engagement but friends have told us what a wonderful evening it was.
Well done all of you involved.
