Some things to do this week

Again many villages will be having fetes with petanque, repas and bal. If you have something different happening near you please let us know. Gite owners could print this post alone to show their renters.

Saturday 9th August
Laguepie: 4pm onward a parade of 200 motos and bikers, plus fireworks.
Montpezat de Quercy: Fete du Vin, all day.
Castanet: Domaine de Sautou. African Evening from 7.30pm. Food available.

Sunday 10th August
St Antonin: usual fete events plus fireworks at 10pm
Verfeil sur Seye: Rhapsodiva - musical in 4 acts: flute, guitar and soprano play Verdi, Bizet,
                            Bernstein and Piazzola. 4pm in the church.
Laguepie or Caussade: vide grenier

Monday 11th August
Montricoux: week of activities starts 6.30pm Trio Compadres. Details and bookings 0563035976

Tuesday 12th August
Cordes sur Ciel: Marche nocturne.7pm
Laguepie: Open air cinema at the Old Castle, St Martin Laguepie

Thursday 14th August
Varen; Argentine tango under the market hall. Free from 8.30pm.
Caussade: Nashville Cats at the Irish pub from 7pm.
Laguepie: International Quillou Championship Chez Fifi from 2.30pm. Giant Aligot in the evening.

Friday 15th August (national holiday)
Najac: brocante
Caylus: fete des potiers. Place de la Halle all day.
Laguepie: Lyric concert at the church of Puech Mignon (time to be advised)
St Antonin: Course de Cote - hill climb motor race on the climb to Caussade

Saturday 16th August
