Peter sends photos of a Western whip in wild photos

This gives me a chance for one of my stories. When we lived at the Presbytere at St. Vincent de Varen, just down the road,  Malc called me and some friends to come quickly down in to the garden. We dashed to him to see what we later found to be a snake called a western whip. The snake had caught a rat and like a shot wrapped itself around the rat, squeezing the life out of it. You could literally see the life going out of the rats eyes as the snake tightened its coils. Malc said "run and get the camera" but in doing this the snake as quick as a flash slithered off in to the bushes. One could not believe the speed he went. It took us ages to find his photo in a book to see he was a western whip.
